It was a lovely sunny day as I headed down to London a few weeks ago (yes, this post is long overdue!) I’d been invited to the Debenhams preview for the Star by Julien Macdonald collection at the Sanderson Hotel, and now I’ve decided to share my thoughts with you lovely lot. Aren’t you lucky?

If you’re familiar with Julien Macdonald’s designs, you’ll know he isn’t afraid of glitter and sparkle, and this collection didn’t disappoint. Some people love the glitz and glam but others aren’t so keen, either not being sure how to use it or simply feeling like it isn’t their cup of tea. However, as someone who’s partial to a little bling, I’d like to show you how a little sparkle can be a good thing no matter what your interior style.

As featured on Houzz – kitchen bins and laundry baskets

It’s a few days late but this is my first post of 2017 so what you gonna do? It’s been a year since I started blogging and it’s been a lot more fun than I expected leading to loads of opportunities, including writing for Houzz. My articles have generated a lot of interest and I’m pleased to say that many of them now appear in their ‘Most Popular‘ section! At the end of last year I had two articles published on Houzz that I didn’t get round to featuring here on my own blog so this one is a twofer! I do love hearing about exciting new collaborations and when they’re with up and coming designers then that’s even better (because everyone loves an underdog). It’s for this very reason that the Design Lab from sofa.com gets a big thumbs up from me! 👍🏼

The bi-annual initiative by sofa.com teams up with UK textile designers to create beautiful limited edition collections. These exclusive ranges pair the stylish furniture designs of sofa.com with fabrics designed by fresh, new talent. Their AW16 collection with design duo Barneby Gates launches next month but I’ve had a sneak peek and decided it’s too good to keep to myself!

Feioi’s falling for…marble

From fire to stone…last month, Feioi Finds was all about fire bowls – if you missed it, catch it here – and now I’m falling for everything marble. There are endless ways you can use marble in interiors, from kitchen worktops and bathroom tiles to furniture and accessories. It’s a trend that’s been around for a while but I have a feeling it’s not going anywhere. Join me in a celebration of everything marbley!

As you may or may not know, I reside in the beautiful city of Cambridge. One of the best things about Cambridge is the variety of independent shops and local businesses in the area from fashion to food to, most importantly, interiors. Being self-employed, I understand the importance of supporting local independent businesses so I decided to write a post featuring some of my favourite interiors shops and companies in the Cambridge area. The new collection from Loaf

Hi all!
