I've posted an actual photo on the grid! 😱 After sharing @pinkstormsocial's post about the hellish nightmare that is overthinking Instagram, a lot of you messaged me saying you felt the same. Some of you were really encouraging too saying "your stuff is always nice, just get on with it and post something - it doesn't have to be perfect" and you're totally right. I made a pact with @makeitprettycreative to post by the end of the week so here it is. You better be working on that reel, Sammi!
Hello, it's been a while hasn't it? Life has been somewhat chaotic recently with settling back into the house, juggling my workload, and various other things. Here's a shot of my new extension back when it was nearly finished and before we moved back in. It doesn't look like this anymore. Apparently we own a spectacular amount of shit that seems to constantly grow and accumulate so nothing is ever tidy. *sigh*
I had a fabulous day last weekend having a mooch around some artists' studios for @camopenstudios and I got to see some beautiful houses too 😍
I can barely believe I'm writing these words but I'm currently running at full capacity! If you're at all interested in getting some design advice, please drop me an email or DM as I do still have some availability in July at the moment for individual design sessions. For full room designs or more, I'm looking at about a month in advance depending on what's required. I don't like saying no to people or asking them to wait but I can't risk letting down my current clients or putting myself in a position where I couldn't give you proper focus and attention. Plus I'd rather not burn out and I can see the end of term fast approaching 😱 Any tips on juggling work and a 3 year old would be much appreciated! I can see a lot of working between 8pm-midnight in my future 😭
How to pick paint colours (featuring some work in progress photos of my house). Picking paint colours it's hard and can be overwhelming for some. It's tricky to know how to how it's going to look and sometimes it feels more comfortable to play safe rather than risk "getting it wrong". Here are my tips:
Let's talk about white walls. Many people love the look of white walls. I get it - it's clean, fresh, bright, makes the room look big and airy. But if you see a gorgeous room with white walls, you need to understand what you're seeing.
Who wants storage tips? Everyone wants storage tips! Here are my top tips on storage if you missed my stories on Sunday. If you want to see me talking about it, I've saved it as a highlight in my profile.
My business name is Feioi and I often get asked what it means and how to pronounce it so I thought I'd do a post to explain it.
I know this is an interiors account and a lot of what I've been sharing on my stories recently hasn't been interiors related. If you've followed me for a while, you'll know this account is semi-personal and sometimes I'll share stuff that isn't interiors related. I hope that some of my content is inspirational, interesting and useful advice about interiors but I'll also post about things that make me laugh, what I've been doing, food I've been eating, and how I've been feeling. And sometimes, about good and bad things happening in the world.
