I'm a bit late to the party, which isn't like me at all, but anyway...the Christmas decs are up! Who's bored of seeing them? Not this girl, I f***ing love the festive season so keep the Christmassy pics coming! . I absolutely did not make my wreath. I bought this beauty, as I have done for the last few years, from @cambridgemarket. The door knocker has essentially been rendered unusable as I've tied it to it and it's very close to the letterbox so the postie is going to hate us, especially as it's a super spiky holly one. Ah well, it looks pretty πŸŽ„
What's the best bit about interior design? The big stuff is fun - space planning, colour schemes, finding that statement piece...but sometimes it's the little details that make all the difference. Here's a shot from a bathroom I designed and I absolutely adore the "Light Paul" from @luna_lighting - it's simple, stylish, and kinda cute. Plus, it's always great to support a small business. The pun is the cherry on top. . Let's all step away from the department stores and online sites occasionally and find a small business instead. Leave a comment with your favourites below and let's share the love πŸ’ž
Had some little business postcards made up for the new packages. Do you like? . Finding the best way to promote yourself is tricky and I'll admit, I'm not very good at it. I really want to make interior design more accessible so I hope these packages will pique the interest of some people who have never used a designer before. It's just a case of getting the word out! Any tips are very welcome πŸ‘‡πŸΌπŸ˜˜
October is a busy month with my birthday and our anniversary less than a week apart. Thank you for everyone's lovely messages on my last post by the way ❀ You may have seen in my stories that I visited @provenancekitchen for my birthday lunch. I've heard so many good things about this place but hadn't managed to visit and it did not disappoint. The food is amazing and just look at the interior 😍 It's a gorgeous, airy space with my kind of simple, elegant design. I love the dark tones and industrial style of the exposed beams alongside the natural textures of stone and wood, finished off with plenty of lush, green plants 🌿 Have you been? Do you love the style as much as me?

Have you seen my new interior design consultancy packages? Β£150 buys you a 2 hour consultation or you can opt for 2 x 2 hour consultations for Β£280. My aim is to make interior design more accessible to the average person. Design isn't just for those with big budgets and massive houses. We all want to live in a home that is beautiful and functions well for our lifestyles and this can be challenging to achieve if you don't have the time or knowledge. In fact, you could argue that it's those homes with tricky space or budget constraints that can benefit most from clever design techniques. I hope these packages will make the service more affordable and help to break down the perception that interior design is only for the super fancy. We can all be a bit fancy! Head over to my website (link in bio) to find out more about my services. If you or someone you know is looking for a little design guidance, I'd love to hear from you! πŸ“·: @rich_e_
I've been working away at updating my website and creating some new interior design consultancy packages for Feioi. It's taken longer than I planned, partly because these things always do and partly because I'm trying to take things a bit slower in an effort to not get so stressed. I think I'm finally done! I'd love it if you would take a look and let me know what you think (link in bio) ❀
We made the most of the good weather on Saturday with a lovely walk around @wickenfennt. We took the boardwalk route, stopped for our @stircambridge takeaway lunch, then followed the woodland walk. Both routes are fully accessible, so pushchair and wheelchair friendly, and there are longer walking or cycling routes available too. The views were absolutely stunning, can't believe it's taken me this long to visit. We're @nationaltrust members now, so no more excuses! Where are your fave National Trust spots for me to add to my list?
#throwbackthursday to chilling out in the tropical weather at @ytlhotels Gaya Island, Sabah. I know Autumn is lovely, leaves are turning, blah blah blah...but does anyone else miss summer or is it just me?
