Cole & Son Contemporary Restyled Flamingos wallpaper

Feioi’s…falling for flamingos

Hurrah – it’s the end of the month and thatΒ means payday! And to top it all off we’ve got a long weekend in the UK – yay! If you fancy treating yourself to a little housey gift then look no further. The #FeioiFinds series is a monthly wishlist of lovely homeware and interiors goodies that I’ve been falling in love with.

This month, I’ve gone a bit bonkers for flamingos. It seems I’m not the only one as flamingo themed homewares are literally ERRRRYWHERE at the moment. Plus it follows on nicely from last week’s post all about adding pink to your home. If you’re feeling like one of your rooms is lacking a certain something that you can’t quite put your finger on, perhapsΒ a majestic pink bird on one leg is exactly what it needs.

Fabulous flamingos

How pretty is this mug? Don’t answer, it’s a rhetorical question. In the words of Regina George – you’re, like, really pretty Flamingo Mug. Class up breakfast time or your afternoon tea and biscuits with this delicate bone china mug designed by Bristol based studio Rolfe & Wills. All designed are hand drawn by Alice Rolfe. Available from Barnaby & Co.

I’m not normally one for hanging animal heads on the wall and the idea sounds like it should be weird but somehow a wall mounted plush flamingo head is all kinds of awesome. Β Looks brilliant on it’s own or with the rest of the gangΒ (I’m particularly loving the unicorn too). Technically for kids so is it a bit weird that I think they’re really cool…? Available from Cuckooland.

You can never have too many cushions. Fact. And if you’re even half the flamingo fan that I am then you need this cushion in your life. The Graham & Green Three Flamingos cushion is quirky and elegant featuring a beautiful pink trim. Love it!

Flamingos don’t have to mean pink. If that’s just not your style but still need flamingos in your life (talk about first world problems) then Cole & Son have answered your prayers. Their gorgeous Flamingo wallpaper has been given a makeover as part of the Contemporary Restyled collection with four new colour-ways of soft neutrals and this deliciously dark option.

Are you feeling the flamingos or think it’s a passing fad? Will you be adding any flamingoey (yes that is a word) homewares to your wishlist? Tell me, tell me everything! And if you have any requests for future #FeioiFinds themes then leave me a comment.

Wishing you all a happy flamingo-filled bank holiday weekend!

I love this! I need flamingos in my life that are not pink! My husband loves them from a childhood book he read and I have been looking for a way to incorporate them and now I have a great idea. Wallpaper to line a bookshelf back wall. He is a professional photographer and in pursuit of the ultimate flamingo photo, we managed to get a rental jeep stuck in a sand dune in the BVI. So for us, this would be a charming nod to a story the accompanies his art. Thank you for the great flamingo finds and sharing ideas to spark a little inspiration!

I’d be happy to… Once we get moved! We’re wrapping up an arts show in Ohio then moving to Portland in September. So I hope you don’t mind if it takes a while! I am eagerly awaiting to day myself πŸ™‚
